Developer description: This installation program will reinstall the missing or corrupt Windows XP system files. These system files - “command.com”, “autoexec.nt” and “config.nt”, are likely to be missing or corrupt if you had a virus or worm/Trojan infection on your win XP/NT/2000 system. Various Spyware applications are also known to damage or delete these files.The absence or corruption of one or more of these files from WinXP systems causes a "16 Bit Subsystem" error. Error example: ”C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32AUTOEXEX.NT. The file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose ‘Close’ to terminate the application.”
Note: this patch was tested and is known to be working ok and do the trick. However we strongly recomended to be on the safe side and create a system "restore point" before runing it over your system.
